1-history:

 It was created in 1926 by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler.
The name of the firm is the name of Karl Benz's daughter (Mercedes).
All the buildings of the manufactory were destroyed in the Second World War,
There is just one building left and the legend says that it was the first one built.

 2-Mercedes factory:

The three words which define the Mercedes factory today are: quality, hybrid and performance .
In the Stuttgart manufactory they just produce engines of A-Class and B-Class .
There are three production lines on the production site and there're forty employees on this site .
There are ten per line and ten to move engine parts, and human intervention allows great quality of production and an average productivity Mercedes produce 8 million vehicles per year (it's 90% of world production)
